Rose Gold Rolex Watches: Everose Models and Common Mixups

Rose gold gives a Rolex a warmer appearance than steel or white gold. Rolex calls its proprietary pink gold alloy Everose. When choosing a preowned watch, identify the exact reference: a familiar model name does not mean every version was made in rose gold.

This guide updates our 2020 article, which mixed genuine rose gold options with unrelated steel models. Its old prices and availability statements should not be used as current offers.

Datejust and Day Date

Everose appears in both all gold and steel and gold configurations across relevant Datejust references. Dial choices, smooth or fluted bezels and bracelet styles change the effect. A Datejust’s decorative bezel should not be described as a rotating timing bezel.

The Day Date provides another rose gold option, with a day display in addition to the date. The dark dial example pictured above shows the contrast between a warm colored case and a simple dial. Confirm its metal and configuration from the watch’s records.

Daytona and Yacht Master

An Everose Daytona combines a chronograph with a warmer metal tone. Compare bracelet and strap versions carefully, along with any diamond additions. A custom gem set bezel should not be presented as a factory configuration without documentation.

Everose Yacht Master models paired with a black bezel and Oysterflex offer a different balance of color. The Yacht Master II mentioned in our older article is a separate regatta chronograph; its historical steel and Everose configuration should not be confused with an all rose gold Yacht Master.

Sky Dweller and GMT Master II

The Sky Dweller brings calendar and travel functions to a larger dial. An Everose example may look quite different from a steel or yellow gold version, so ask for photographs of the exact watch being offered.

Everose GMT Master II references provide another travel watch option. Rolex introduced Everose configurations in the GMT Master II collection in 2018. The brand’s 2018 GMT Master II brochure documents that release.

Older Cellini Dress Watches

The older Cellini collection also included Everose designs. These are worth considering for someone who prefers a dress watch on leather, but this archive is not a claim that every former Cellini model remains in production.

Models That Do Not Belong in This List

The Milgauss and Air King examples in the original article were not rose gold watches. Its Submariner discussion also did not establish an Everose configuration. Gold colored photographs, custom finishes and model nicknames are not substitutes for reference and material records.

Everose is 18k gold, not pure gold. Before purchasing, review case condition, bracelet fit, service history and any alterations. Ask for the current price and written terms for the individual watch.
