Choosing a Cartier Watch as a Gift: Shape and Fit
Share
A Cartier watch can be a personal gift when its shape and fit match the wearer. These original photographs offer two different directions: a square watch on a metal bracelet and round designs on darker straps. Start with those visible differences before choosing specifications or setting a budget.

A square case and metal bracelet
The square example has Roman numerals, exposed bezel screws and a bracelet that continues the case’s lines. The wrist photographs show how it sits beside several rings. Try the actual watch or confirm wrist measurements before deciding how many links will be needed.

A round dial changes the outline
The later photographs include a decorated round watch and a separate Cartier with a dark dial, lower counter and strap. These are different examples, not alternate views of the square watch. Dial details, movements and materials should be confirmed by reference.

Before making the gift purchase
Ask about service history, strap or bracelet condition, supplied documents and any later gem work. Confirm sizing arrangements and the applicable exchange or alteration terms for the specific purchase. Do not assume every Cartier uses the same movement or that a photograph establishes diamond grades.
