Cushion Diamond Eternity Bands: Fit and Stone Matching
Share
A row of cushion shaped diamonds gives an eternity band a softly squared outline. The original photographs compare two bands on neighboring fingers, showing how stone proportions and setting height affect the overall look. Neither carat weight nor clarity can be read reliably from a photograph.

Compare more than total weight
Ask for the number of stones, their measurements and any documented grades. Total carat weight is the combined weight, not the weight of each diamond. Look for a pleasing match in outline and appearance across the row. Cushion diamonds can have different facet arrangements; there is no single facet count that defines every modern example.
Try the fit carefully
Stones and settings between the fingers can make a broad band feel different from a plain wedding ring. Check comfort while making a loose fist and holding everyday objects. If you will wear it beside an engagement ring, compare the setting heights and points of contact.

Full or partial coverage?
A full eternity band carries stones around the entire circumference. A half eternity band covers only part of it. Confirm the underside of the actual ring rather than deciding from a front photograph. Full coverage can make resizing difficult or impractical, so discuss future sizing needs before purchase.
