Our Third Annual Holiday Toy Drive: The 2020 Announcement

The December 2020 Plan

Our third annual holiday toy drive was announced for Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 9 a.m. to noon at Diamonds by Raymond Lee in Boca Raton. The planned Diamonds & Donuts gathering brought the car community together around collecting toys for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. The date has passed; this page preserves the announcement and the people who supported it.

What the Photographs Show

This announcement used photographs from earlier drives and gatherings to show the spirit of the event. The toys, visiting children and gift presentations in the gallery should not be read as photographs documenting the December 2020 drive itself. The collection also contains sponsor photographs, including automotive businesses, a restaurant, a fitness business and a podiatry practice.

The Original Community Supporters

The announcement thanked Excell Auto Group, RE/MAX Advantage Plus, Salvage to Savage, Boca Wrap Pro, Auto Toy Store, Superior Street Syndicate, Delray Beach Podiatry, Signature Autohaus, Crazy Uncle Mike’s, Strive Fitness and Boca Scooters. Diamonds by Raymond Lee, Raymond Lee Jewelers and Boca Pawn were part of the original host and family business acknowledgment. These are historical credits, not a statement that the same businesses sponsor every current event.

Why We Saved This Announcement

The earlier photographs show how donated toys and a shared interest in cars brought people together. The cars were a meeting point for friends and families, while the toy collection gave the gathering a shared purpose. For information about a new toy collection or car show, ask the showroom for the current date, beneficiary and participation details.
