Emerald Cut Diamond Ring with an Accented Band
Share
This ring places a rectangular emerald cut center above a band of round accent stones. The contrast is clear in the close views: long, orderly facets in the center and smaller flashes along the shoulders. The original article called the band an eternity band, although the full underside is not shown.

Look beyond the top view
The front photograph shows the center’s rectangular outline and clipped corners. The side angles reveal the raised setting and open supports beneath it. That height matters when trying the ring with a wedding band or wearing it under fitted gloves.

Center stone and accent stones
Ask for the center diamond’s measurements and weight separately from the combined accent weight. Review any available grading report, then examine the actual diamond under more than one light. Brightness in a photograph cannot establish a clarity grade or prove that a stone is flawless.

Band construction and fit
Confirm how far the accent stones extend around the band. A fully set band and one with a plain lower section can have different resizing options. Ask the jeweler to assess the setting, prongs and fit before making a decision.
