Diamond Eternity Bands: Stone Shapes and Comfortable Fit
Share
Diamond bands can look quite different even when they share an eternity style arrangement. The photographs here compare rounded stones with rectangular step cut stones and a softly squared design. Their settings affect spacing, width and how the band feels between the fingers.

Shape changes the line of the band
Rectangular stones create a more geometric outline, while rounded shapes leave different spaces between settings. Compare the full band rather than selecting by total weight alone. Stone count and individual dimensions both contribute to its appearance.

Confirm full or partial coverage
A full eternity band carries stones around its complete circumference. A partial band leaves a plain section beneath the finger. Some photographs here show the inner curve clearly; for a purchase, ask to inspect the whole ring rather than assuming coverage from a front view.

Size and comfort come first
Try the actual width with any rings you plan to wear beside it. Check whether the prongs or edges rub against your skin or another setting. Full stone coverage can restrict resizing, so have a jeweler confirm the options before buying.
