A Custom Henri Daussi Cushion Halo Engagement Ring
Share
A Specific Design Request
This customer wanted a Henri Daussi engagement ring with a fuller outline than the design they had first considered. In the original project, the request was to make both the halo and the shank about 1mm wider. That small measurement mattered because it affected the balance between the center stone, its surrounding diamonds and the band.
Reviewing the CAD
Our team discussed the requested changes with Henri Daussi. A CAD presentation showed the proposed ring from several directions, allowing the customer to review the proportions before approving the design. The original CAD image is preserved below alongside photographs of the finished ring, so the process can be seen as well as described.
Selecting and Setting the Center
The customer selected a loose cushion shaped diamond from the store for this project. The stone was sent to Henri Daussi for mounting, and the finished ring was returned to us. The photographs show the halo, the raised basket and the decorated shoulders from different angles. These are details of this particular completed commission, not a specification for every Henri Daussi ring.
Planning Your Own Custom Ring
A useful starting point is to identify what you would change about an existing design: the band width, the halo outline, the height or the metal. Ask which changes the designer can accommodate and review their effect on the center setting and ring size. Pricing, production time, stone suitability and approval stages need to be confirmed for each new project. This older customer story does not promise that every design can be altered in the same way.
