Rolex Sky-Dweller: Annual Calendar and Travel Time Display
Share
Two Time Displays
The Sky-Dweller combines conventional hands with an off center 24 hour disc for a reference time zone. That layout lets a traveler keep track of another time while reading local time on the main hands. The gallery shows the arrangement on a dark dial example.

An Annual Calendar, Not a Perpetual One
Rolex calls its annual calendar Saros. It accounts for the different lengths of 30 and 31 day months, but needs correction at the end of February. It does not automatically handle February and leap years as a perpetual calendar would.

Setting and Generation Differences
The Ring Command bezel participates in selecting settings, together with the crown. Ask for instructions for the exact watch before adjusting it. Current Sky-Dweller specifications list calibre 9002, while earlier models used 9001; the current movement should not be assigned to an older archive photograph.

Check Practical Fit
The side and fastening views help show the case depth and strap arrangement. Try the watch on and confirm the strap length, clasp condition and readability of both time displays. Ask about its service history and any replaced parts. The archive photographs do not establish current stock availability.
