How Our Jewelry Collateral Loan Process Works
Share
Diamonds by Raymond Lee provides jewelry collateral loans directly in Boca Raton. An evaluation helps establish whether an item is suitable and what offer may be available. A loan uses the accepted piece as security; it is not an outright sale.
Discuss the Item
Start with the jewelry or watch you would like considered. Bring supporting records when available, including receipts, diamond reports or watch documents. Explain any modifications, repairs or replaced stones so the team can evaluate the piece accurately.
Materials, identity, condition and current market demand can affect the evaluation. The original retail price, an insurance appraisal and a collateral loan offer serve different purposes and should not be treated as interchangeable figures.
Review the Written Offer
Ask the team to explain the loan amount, interest, applicable fees, repayment deadline and total repayment obligation. Confirm what paperwork is required and when funds would be available. Take time to understand the agreement before accepting it.
We do not charge early repayment penalties. That does not mean a loan is free of interest or other applicable charges. Ask for the payoff amount if you plan to repay before the agreed date.
Leaving and Reclaiming Your Item
Make sure the item description is accurate and that you understand the storage arrangements, applicable protection and collection procedure. Keep your copy of the agreement and any receipt.
Meeting the repayment terms allows you to recover your item. If you cannot meet a deadline, speak with the team promptly about available options. Extensions are subject to agreement, and failure to repay can result in losing the collateral.
