Oval Diamond Ring with an Accented Band
Share
An oval center diamond gives this ring its elongated outline. Smaller stones run along the shoulders, while the lower portion of the band is plain metal. That visible construction is more precise than the earlier description of a full eternity band.

One prominent center with additional accents
The oval remains the focal point, but the shoulder stones are part of the design. When comparing rings, ask for the center weight separately from the total diamond weight. Also compare the oval’s length and width, since two stones of the same weight can have different proportions.

The side view matters
Look at the height of the center and the space beneath it. A raised setting can affect how the ring sits beside a wedding band and how easily it catches on clothing. Try the two rings together rather than assuming any straight band will fit flush.

Check size, settings and documentation
The plain lower band does not by itself guarantee that every size adjustment is possible. Ask a jeweler to inspect the ring and explain its resizing limits. Request metal fineness, available grading information and the condition of the small stone settings before purchasing.
