Diamond Set Nautilus: Calendar and Moon Phase Details
Share
The most useful view of this Patek Philippe Nautilus is the close photograph: calendar windows sit near the top of the dial, with a moon phase display in the lower portion. Dark hands and hour markers contrast with the densely set stones.

Read the display before choosing a watch
A moon phase display illustrates the lunar cycle. It does not make a watch keep time more accurately. Calendar functions also differ by reference, so the presence of day and month windows should not be used to invent a movement specification or adjustment procedure.

A bright case and bracelet
Stones cover much of the visible surface, from the dial surround to the bracelet. The wider portraits show how that surface catches light when worn. They do not establish stone grades, total diamond weight or whether the setting was completed by Patek Philippe.

Documentation worth requesting
Confirm the complete reference and original configuration, then ask for service records and an explanation of any later gem work. Have the calendar and moon phase functions demonstrated using the correct instructions for that watch. Bracelet length, clasp condition and the security of the settings also deserve an inspection.
This article preserves an earlier jewelry shoot. It does not confirm that the pictured watch is currently available. Contact Diamonds by Raymond Lee to discuss available Nautilus examples and the documentation supplied with each one.
