Rolex 18948 Tridor Masterpiece: Dial and Bracelet Details
Share
The Rolex 18948 in this archived gallery draws attention to two details: a pale patterned dial and the contrasting tones running through its bracelet. The day window at twelve and date at three identify the familiar Day-Date layout, while the rounded bracelet links give this Masterpiece a different character from a conventional President model.
What Tridor Describes
Tridor refers to the use of three gold colors. It does not mean that the bracelet is one uniformly colored blend. A Christie's reference 18948 record documents a 39 mm example with an 18k three color gold bracelet, automatic movement and day and date functions. That auction watch is a separate example, with a different dial.

Our featured watch has an angular pattern across its dial and a circular gem set bezel. The original feature described the dial as meteorite. Its material, originality and gemstone specifications should be supported by the individual watch's records, not inferred from these photographs. The bracelet is the Pearlmaster style associated with this Masterpiece design, rather than the three link President bracelet.

Compare the Individual Watch
The final photograph contains four different Rolex watches. It is a comparison image, not a group of identical 18948 examples. Before choosing one, compare bracelet fit, case condition, service history and documentation for the dial and setting.
