Sapphire and Diamond Rolex Submariner: Design and Details
Share
A blue dial, blue bezel stones and bright accents give this Rolex Submariner a very different presence from a standard diving watch. The photographs focus on the contrast between the polished metal bracelet and the closely arranged stones around the face.
The earlier description called the stones sapphires and diamonds. Their identity, quality and whether the setting is factory original need to be supported by the specific watch’s documentation and examination.

Where the Stones Appear
Blue and clear rectangular stones alternate around the bezel. Smaller clear stones cover the visible lugs and crown guards. The bracelet shown has plain metal links; it should not be described as a diamond bracelet.
That distinction matters when comparing another listing. A similar blue dial does not establish the same reference, metal, setting or provenance.

Buying a Gem Set Submariner
Ask for the reference, an explanation of any modifications, a condition report and available service records. Inspect the stones and settings for damage, missing pieces or uneven repairs. Factory and later gem setting should be clearly distinguished in the sale description.
The jeweled bezel shown does not have the conventional numbered diving scale. Do not treat decorative stones as a substitute for a usable timing scale or assume a modified watch retains its original water resistance.
