Our May 2020 Showroom Reopening and Appointment Update

This page records the service arrangements we announced during spring 2020. On May 11, 2020, we updated the post to say the showroom had reopened, with appointments requested in advance. Earlier sections still said it was closed, creating a contradiction. This archive separates those stages and should not be used for current visiting instructions.

Before and After May 11

During the temporary closure to general showroom visits, we described outdoor appointments, phone and online consultations, scheduled pickups and shipping. After the May 11 update, the post continued to offer outdoor appointments for customers who preferred them and curbside handling for repairs.

The photographs show the entrance seating, watch presentations and pickup arrangements from that period. They illustrate how the business adapted; they do not establish today’s procedures.

Services Discussed in the Update

The announcement covered buying and selling jewelry and watches, trades, repairs and collateral loan inquiries. Staff prepared pieces for appointments after discussing a customer’s interests. For repairs, the original process recorded the item and contact details, followed by a pickup appointment once the work was ready.

It also described weekday dispatch and insured shipping. Those were arrangements reported at the time, not a present promise that every order can leave or arrive the same day. Confirm current delivery, repair and appointment details directly with our team.

Historical Terms and Safety Language

The original post included promotional prices and loan terms from 2020. They are not current offers. Any present transaction requires its own written pricing and terms.

Cleaning, masks, hand sanitizer and outdoor seating were described as precautions. The earlier guarantees of absolute safety were too strong and have been removed. This page preserves the history of the reopening without making a health guarantee.
