Miami Cuban Link Chains: Links, Construction and Fit

Recognizing the Cuban Link Look
A Miami Cuban link chain is associated with closely interlocking curb links that form a substantial, relatively flat line. Link shape and spacing affect the appearance as much as overall width. Compare several chains directly rather than relying on the style name alone.

Keep Different Patterns Separate
Our original gallery also contains twisted, stone covered and larger open link designs. They are retained as alternatives, not all labeled as classic Miami Cuban chains. A decorated chain can have a very different construction from a plain curb chain of similar width.

Choose Length and Construction Together
Try the chain at the length you plan to wear. Check whether it turns, sits comfortably against your neck and works with your usual neckline. Ask about solid or hollow construction and actual weight; a large silhouette does not tell you how much metal is present.

Inspect the Fastening
Look at how the clasp joins the links and whether its closure operates securely. For a stone set piece, ask about stone identity, total weight and setting condition. Confirm metal fineness from the individual listing and its supporting records, not from the yellow or white appearance in a photograph.
