Richard Mille describes the RM 011 Felipe Massa as an automatic flyback chronograph with an annual calendar and oversize date. These are useful functional starting points. They should not be mixed with construction claims about unrelated Richard Mille models.
What Flyback Means
A flyback chronograph can restart a timing interval without the usual separate stop and reset sequence. Have the team demonstrate the exact watch’s controls before using them. The annual calendar is another distinct feature, not the same as a perpetual calendar.
The Case and Strap
The original photographs show curved cases and contrasting red and blue straps. They do not support the earlier claim that the photographed RM 011 has a 200 part Carbon TPT bracelet. Strap color and a family resemblance also cannot establish an exact reference or edition.
Inspect the Particular Example
Check the full reference, case material, service records and included documentation. Try the case and strap together to assess thickness, balance and clasp fit. Technical details and production claims should come from that model’s records, not from stories about sapphire watches, tourbillons or another collection.
