Boca’s Diamonds and Donuts Car Show is Back on July 12th, 2020 – RSVP Now!
We are very excited to announce that Boca’s Diamonds and Donuts Car Show is back next month on July 12th, 2020. This is our first car show since the COVID-19 pandemic started. It’s been way too long!
Not only will this be an absolute blast for all the car fanatics out there, but it is also a beacon signaling things are getting back to normal here in Boca Raton…at least somewhat.
As the coronavirus is still a real threat to our community and economy, we have been closely monitoring state and local guidelines. With the phased reopenings in the City of Boca Raton, we are allowed to run our Diamonds and Donuts Car Show next month. However, there are some precautions that we and all of our guests should follow.
They are as such:
- If you feel sick, stay home and contact your medical care provider.
- If someone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19, keep the entire household at home.
- For those who attend, please wear a face covering, practice respiratory etiquette, and avoid handshakes, hugs, and kisses.
- We will be thoroughly disinfecting the area and providing guests with hand sanitizer.
The car show is still a month away from the date of this post, so we expect things to get even better by then. Nevertheless, we will keep a close eye on the current COVID situation as it pertains to Boca Raton and South Florida.
Now that we got the serious talk out of the way, let’s get into the juicy stuff…CARS.
OUR CAR SHOW IS OPEN TO ALL MAKES & MODELS! COME OUT AND SHOW OFF YOUR WHIP!
CARS YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE AT BOCA’S DIAMONDS AND DONUTS CAR SHOW ON JULY 12, 2020
Let’s take a trip down memory lane so you can get an idea of what kind of cars you will see when attending Boca’s Diamonds and Donuts Car Show next month on July 12th, 2020 at Diamonds By Raymond Lee…
FERRARI’S
For those of you who have been following Diamonds and Donuts, you know that we couldn’t completely go cold turkey with cars for the 3 months of lockdown and social distancing. Therefore, we conformed to COVID-19 by putting together not one but two COVID Cruises.
Just like the Diamonds and Donuts Car Show, packs of exotics participated in the event. One of our favorite packs in the COVID Cruise was a trio of Ferrari’s. Pictured above you can see a Ferrari 458 Spider, Ferrari 488 Spider, and a Ferrari California. You couldn’t ask for a better range of Rari’s. Don’t be at all surprised if you see these cars or ones like it at Boca’s Diamonds and Donuts Car Show on July 12th, 2020.
LAMBO’S
We get a lot of Ferrari’s at our car show, but we probably get even more Lamborghinis.
Below are a few examples from past Diamonds and Donuts events….
The special edition Lamborghini Huracan Avio LP 580-2.
This supercar has a V10, 5.2L, 90 degrees, Multi-Point Injection, and Direct Stratified Injection engine with a 7-speed twin-clutch auto transmission, which produces a torque of 560 NM at 6500 rpm and 602 bhp at 8250 rpm. It’s a rare beast, both performance-wise and production-wise. Only 250 of these cars have been made.
How about the Aventador SV in Blu Glauco?
The Aventador SV might be the most insane street-legal car in existence. It has a top speed of 217 mph, and it can hit 0-62 in 2.8 seconds and 0-124 in 8.6 seconds. All jaw-dropping stats, even by Lambo standards. After all, this is the fastest Lamborghini to date. To top it off, literally, the Blu Glauco color is simply exquisite. If you see a blue flash while driving on the highway, you may have just been passed by this SV. You will really only be able to get a good look at it if you come to Diamonds and Donuts.
We love how the Rari’s and Lambo’s complement each other so beautifully at Diamonds and Donuts. The Ferrari’s bring the unrivaled sporty elegance and sweeping bodywork, while the Lamborghini’s bless us with unparalleled flashiness and aerodynamic, sharp edges. It’s like elegance vs ostentation, which always ends up in a tie for the eyes.
But that’s not all the exotics you will see. Oh no, no, no.
So let’s continue…
MCLAREN’S
McLaren is like the British brother to Ferrari and Lamborghini. It has its place right up there with the best.
At Diamonds By Raymond Lee, you are guaranteed to see a few McLaren’s. Some noteworthy McLaren’s from past events include the 570S, 650S, 675LT, and, of course, the 720S.
We don’t usually see just one McLaren 720S, we see two or three per show, all with their own exclusively flamboyant colors.
For example, here is the McLaren 720S in Liquid Metallic Solis…
And here we have the Supercar Couple’s 720S’ in Curacao Blue and Fux Fuchsia Purple.
The 720S is a fascinating car, on all fronts. It’s easily one of the greatest cars McLaren has ever made…Better yet, it’s one of the greatest modern supercars in general. The car has an aerodynamic, sweeping, muscular look that is undeniably McLaren, but even more importantly for us gear heads is its relentless power. It has a top speed of 212 mph and it does 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds thanks to a 4.0 liter M840T Twin-Turbocharged V8 engine, which has a rated power output of 720 PS, hence its name the 720S.
SPORTS CARS
Pretty much all of your favorite sports cars find their way to Diamonds and Donuts. It’s the place to check off your “I wanna see that car” list.
We are talking about Mercedes AMG’s…
Aston Martin Vantage’s…
And Porsche’s galore, like this modified 718 Cayman GTS, which has H&R sports springs and 20” Champion Motorsport RF67 forged alloy wheels.
The sports cars at Diamonds and Donuts hang with the exotics like it is nobody’s business. Between the exotics and sports cars, your eyes will light up left and right, front and back. Everywhere you turn is a dream car.
But, it’s not all about exotic supercars and European luxury sports cars. Diamonds and Donuts welcomes all makes and models. We get gangs of Teslas, JDM imports, classic muscle cars, and, of course, our favorite American supercars. Let’s start with the latter as they are sure to impress even the purist supercar nuts.
AMERICAN SUPERCARS
Diamonds and Donuts is never shy of American supercars and muscle cars. At every car show, you will come across some of the best Ford’s, Chevy’s, and Dodge’s there is. For example…
The Chevy Corvette ZR1.
This ZR1 is a 2019, with a starting price of $120,000. The beast holds 755hp with 715 lb-ft of torque under the hood. It hits a mind-blowing top speed of 212mph and a 0-60 in 2.85 seconds. Very impressive numbers, which is why it won Road & Track Performance Car of the Year last year. The ZR1 is proof America can keep up with the world’s best supercars. All hail the king of American supercars.
Ford GT Twin Turbo V6 aka the Stormtrooper
If you’ve been to a Diamonds and Donuts Car Show in the past, you probably have seen the Stormtrooper. This is a car that makes you proud to be an American. The Ford GT Twin Turbo is the effort of the greatest minds and automotive engineers on the planet pulling together to create something like nothing we’ve seen before. The car costs a very pretty penny, needless to say. It wears a price tag of $450,000. That’s whole lot of big ones.
TESLAS (& CHARGING STATIONS)
Nobody does electric vehicles better than Tesla. Their cars are so smart they make other cars feel…well, stupid. The Model S does a 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. And even more insane is the 2021 Tesla Roadster does a stupefying 0-60 in 1.9 seconds, according to Elon Musk.
Thankfully, South Floridians are very progressive in their thinking, so we have a lot of gorgeous Teslas riding around the streets. This is why we’ve set up free charging stations (8, in fact) for anyone who wants to charge up in Boca Raton.
The main point is, you can expect to see the best Teslas there are at Diamonds and Donuts next month.
IMPORTS
On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have our beloved JDM import crew who turn up at Diamonds and Donuts, both literally and figuratively. They are a fun crew who are the true definition of “car nuts”. These guys (and gals) do some intense modifications, taking classic Japanese race cars to insane Fast and Furious type levels, like the above 1998 Nissan 240SX Kouki S14 SE owned by Kyle Murphy.
CLASSICS
We also respect history at Diamonds and Donuts. We love classic cars. One of our favorite classics to ever grace our car show was a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, owned by our good friend Sara. This is ‘muscle’ x ‘classic’ x ‘restored to perfection’…and it’s rare. The production of the 1970 Barracuda saw quite a few coupes, 18,800 to be specific. However, convertible models like this one were far more limited. There were only 635 ever made.
@JULIASGARAGE
Julia Rose (@juliasgarage) will be making a powerful appearance at Diamonds and Donuts next month. Julia is a classic car and antique collector. She has a 73 Camaro, 72 GMC Jimmy, 68 Charger, 62 Chevy C10, 48 Chevy 3100, 39 Suburban, and a 86 Jeep CJ7 mudtruck.
We have confirmed that she will be bringing out her 1962 Chevy C10.
We asked her for some info about how she got into cars and the 1962 C10 Chevy. Here’s what she had to say:
“My love for cars started when I was very young. I was always wanting to get behind the wheel of every classic car my father used to bring home. I began sharing this passion with him when we started working on these cars together every weekend. Fast forward to today, and I am the one dragging him to car shows and car auctions all over Florida! I decided to start my page around January of last year to show off the collection to people who I know would enjoy it as much as I do. This truck is a 1962 C10 Chevrolet pickup with an ls3 motor running 525 HP. It sits on a 1978 K5 chassis with 3 quarter ton running gear.”
All in all, you can expect to see the best cars on the planet, as we welcome all makes and models AND South Floridians love their cars so we have a very diverse automobile scene.

One Response
I’m sad my car hasn’t been there for a while and I’m not in any of the pictures I guess I wasn’t there but one time with the new car. And I was just told by the dealer that I can’t order a new car until next year because McLaren has limited staff. So I’ll try and make it to this one but I won’t really have anything cool to drive
