Iced Out Rolex Day-Date: Blue Numerals and Gem Setting
Share
Blue Roman numerals give this gem set Rolex Day-Date a clear point of contrast. The day window sits at the top of the dial, and the date is visible beneath its magnifier at the side. The photographs show the watch both in the hand and on the wrist.

Different stone shapes across the watch
Small stones cover the dial and portions of the case, while rectangular stones appear around the bezel and through parts of the bracelet. Calling the entire surface pavé would miss those differences. The close front view is the most useful image for comparing them.

Confirm the underlying watch
Rolex describes the Day-Date as a precious metal model, made in gold or platinum. A silver colored surface does not identify which metal a particular example uses. Ask for the reference and metal documentation, as well as a written account of any later gem setting.

Condition and service questions
Have the bracelet, clasp and individual settings checked. Request service history and instructions appropriate to the actual reference. Factory originality, diamond grades and water resistance cannot be established from these photographs.
