Two Time Displays and an Annual Calendar

The main hands show local time, while the 24 hour disc supplies a separate reference time. Small windows around the dial indicate the month. The Saros annual calendar accounts for 30 and 31 day months, but needs a manual correction after February when kept running and correctly set. It is not a perpetual calendar.

The Bezel Has a Purpose

The fluted Ring Command bezel works with the crown to select and adjust functions. Follow the instructions for the actual watch when setting it. The 326938 belongs to the caliber 9001 generation; the newer caliber 9002 should not be assigned to these archive photographs. The collection was introduced in 2012, but it is no longer Rolex’s newest collection.
