Start With the Exact Reference
Chopard’s reference 168571 3001 page describes a 44 mm case and an automatic chronograph movement with COSC chronometer certification. Confirm the reference and production details of a preowned example rather than applying every specification from today’s product page to an older watch.
A chronograph measures elapsed time. Chronometer certification concerns timekeeping performance under a defined test; the two terms describe different things. Certification from production does not replace a current condition check.
Try the Case and Strap
A 44 mm measurement does not tell you how the watch will sit on your wrist. Check the distance across the lugs, case thickness, clasp position and strap adjustment. Make sure the crown and pushers are comfortable when you bend your wrist.
