The Panthere de Cartier is one of the most recognizable watch designs in the world. Introduced in 1983, the collection drew its inspiration from Cartier's long love affair with the panther motif, a symbol the house had used in high jewelry since the 1910s. The Mini Panthere — the smallest expression of the silhouette — was designed specifically for the wrist, with its fluid square case and seamlessly integrated brick-link bracelet creating the impression of a single liquid gold jewel rather than a watch. This example dates to 1994, placing it squarely in the original run, before any modern reissues, and comes with its original Cartier papers.
The cream dial is framed by a full pavé diamond bezel, which catches light from every angle. Roman numerals carry the classic Cartier signature — they have appeared on the brand's watch dials in an unbroken line from the Santos of 1904 to the present day.
