The Rolex 116334 Datejust II arrived in 2009 as the brand's answer to a generation of watch buyers who wanted the Datejust silhouette scaled up to modern proportions. At 41mm, the case fills the wrist with authority without crossing into sport-watch territory. The fluted bezel on this reference is executed in matching stainless steel, a departure from the gold-fluted versions more commonly seen, and it gives the watch a cleaner, more unified look that works equally well with a suit or a sport coat.
