Oval Diamond Halo Ring: Front and Side Views
Share
An oval center stone, a close halo and a narrow accented band give this engagement ring its shape. The photographs include both outdoor views and close studio angles, making it possible to compare the face of the ring with the setting beneath it.

The halo frames the oval
The smaller stones follow the outline of the center, adding a bright border. That border contributes to the overall size on the finger, but it does not increase the center diamond’s carat weight. Ask for the center weight and accent weight separately when reviewing a listing.

The side view matters
Open supports lift the center and halo above the band. This affects how the ring sits against a wedding band and how easily it may catch on clothing. Try the intended pair together rather than assuming that two rings will sit flush.

Compare the actual stone
View the oval in several lighting conditions and while moving it slowly. Request any available grading report and confirm the stone’s measurements, color, clarity and whether it is natural or laboratory grown. A photograph alone cannot settle those details.
The band has visible accent stones, but these views do not prove that they continue around the full underside. Confirm that construction and resizing options with the jeweler. Contact our team for current oval engagement rings; this example is an archive.
